We just want to let your family we are thinking of you. We met Carolyn at the So. Portland Baptist Church which we attended for many years until moving to Durham. Carolyn was a great friend and we enjoyed her friendship. May God Bless you.

Carolyn was so much fun, I remember when she moved to Portland with Ronnie and Jesse and stayed with me for a couple of weeks, we had so much fun, loved her. She was one of a kind and will be so missed by all

My sincere sympathy to Jesse, Judy, Carolyn and family.
Your mother and grandmother was a very special lady and great friend of mine. After losing your Dad at such a young age, she persevered with such strength and love for her children. She was always so positive and like you said always a wink or twinkle in her eyes! She always stayed busy and had a tremendous amount of energy. So happy she got to enjoy grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beautiful picture and well written obituary,, Judy. May her Memory Be Eternal

I have many fond memories of Carolyn during the time we worked together at W.H. Nichols. She had tremendous energy, a terrific sense of humor, and the most caring, positive attitude. My deepest condolences to Jesse and all the Shannon family.
