I remember when Roger came to live at the Barron Center, he was such a nice and thoughtful man. He became friends with my Mother Marjorie St. Pierre and a few others. They formed their own little poker club and then moved on to UNO. He loved watching his sports and maybe sipping on an adult beverage occasionally. Our family was thankful for the friendship and kindness he always showed to Ma. Our sincere condolences to his family, rest in peace Roger.

Hello Steve, Dave and I were very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I never met him but I remember you talking about him. I can see from the photo how much you resemble him! We wish peace to you and your family during these sad times, and many comforting memories. Love from Terry, Dave and kids.

We met Roger at least ten years ago when our motorcycle club, Southern Maine Portland Harley Owners Group, paid its annual summer visit to the folks at the Barron Center. He was such a pleasant guy and a good storyteller, and every year thereafter we would seek him out after parking our bike. Roger talked to us about his riding days on a Honda Goldwing and about how much he liked these new Harleys. He was nice enough to vote for our motorcycle as the best one there every year. He and my husband would remember people they both knew from Biddeford and we would all talk about living in OOB. We are blessed to have known him, and sad to learn of his passing, . Roger was certainly one of the "good guys". We send our condolences to his family.

I remember taking care of Roger when I worked at the Barron Center. We joked a lot with each other. He was very kind and enjoyable. It was a pleasure to take care of him. I know that Mikey will miss him very much. Please accept my deepest condolences. My prayers are with your whole family. I will miss seeing him at Mass on Mondays. He is finally at peace.
