Patty - so sad to hear the news. I'm SO glad we got to visit last summer. I have precious memories of your wonderful living arrangements with Eric and Craig, with Eric cheerfully managing everything both at home and throughout the neighborhood. Thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. God bless.

Eric tied two beautiful bunches of baby balloons to our porch before I got home from the hospital with our baby, Teddy. He met Teddy when he was 4 days old in our dear neighbor Connie's home. He was so thrilled to meet him, and so happy for us. He was a man I always looked forward to seeing. He was true, and kind, and loving. He was the best. I will miss knowing he is here with us, but will forever remember his generosity of spirit and love of life. Hugs to your entire family.

He seems like a wonderful man who lived as we all should.  I'm so sorry for your loss, Kristin, and the rest of your family.  

Kirk, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother.  He sounds like he was such a wonderful person and I cannot imagine the heartbreak that you are feeling.  Please know that our prayers are with your family and you.

Kirk I never met your brother Eric but after reading that beautiful obituary I feel  I know a little about him.  When I saw his smile I knew he was your brother.  It is heartbreaking to lose a loved one so young.  May you and your family find peace in all the love and prayers that are being offered for you.

Eric, you have given our family 50 years of pure joy.  Your kindness and enthusiasm will forever be an Ace in our hearts.

We should all aspire to this life well lived. Lesson learned.

Uncle Eric had a loving and giving spirit that nobody will ever be able to replicate. His generosity, caring personality, and passion for everything he did is what comes to mind whenever I think of him. He left an impact on everybody around him, and his smile and contagious laugh was something that could light up any person's day. What a beautifully expressed tribute to a much-loved man. Kristin, knowing what it feels like to lose a brother at too young an age, no matter what age, you and your family are in my thoughts. May you take comfort in memories of his physical time on Earth and find peace knowing his spirit remains always with you.

We will miss Eric for a million reasons, most importantly his kindness and patience to all. He will always be my amazing nephew and he will be talked about forever by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Rest well Ericať¤i¸Ź We will miss you forever.

Uncle Ralph and I are sure going to miss our monthly early bird specials at Applebee's in Windham, with you, your mother and Craig.  Also all the summers at Little Sebago Lake jumping off the Big rock with the nieces and nephew.  Eric left us way too soon.

My heart is with the family during this time of sadness. Seems so unfair that he's gone at such an early age. He was/is a person with such an extremely huge heart, there can only be one reason that he's no longer here with us.
