William "Bill" Arthur Walker

Bill & Althea were wonderful people .I grew up across the street from them in Brewer and was their designated house sitter. I remember Bills chuckle to this day. He had a good laugh the day AJ & I managed to wrap the canoe around a rock during the Kenduskeag canoe race - Bill picked us up walking home. Their family & household was always full of warmth & friendship. As they say in the county- they were good folk.

Just reading obituary of Bill. I don't know if Beth or A.J. remember me, but I worked for Walker Associates in Bangor for many years along with Cheryl Sprague. Bill and Althea were our friends. Bertha and I rented upstairs over Bill and Althea in Ashland . They were wonderful friends .Scott and Kent were just a few years old !!!  I was in Bob's class at Ashland H. S.   I am sorry to hear of Bill's demise.  Sincerely,   Floyd Bolstridge   Brewer, Maine
