To the Forestell family, my heartfelt sympathy to you all. As youngsters, I knew Helen best. Though it’s been decades, the memories came rushing back of the great neighborhood and so many wonderful people that produced the fondest of memories. God bless you all.

To John, Paul, Mary and Helen, please accept my deepest sympathies for your mother's passing.  As neighbors, we spent so much time together growing up in the 70's, and I have so many fond memories of you all.  My favorite (in hindsight) was when I wanted to run away from home; made it to the front yard, she said 'boo' from her kitchen window, and I ran right back!  Rest in peace Mrs.F.  May God bless you all.

Thank you all who posted here.  Mom got her Irish wake...with the virus it was intimate...but beautiful.  The funeral also was intimate with a singing voice of an angel in the cantor. We received claddagh charms at the grave site from the funeral home. Its as if she had a hand in every aspect of her passing.  Helen and I was holding her hand when she passed. She is now in heaven with our father and her parents waiting for us when our time comes to meet her again. . We four have been blessed with her as our mother.

My deepest sympathies to your family. James was my mother’s uncle (Elinor Forestell Sheehan) and we visited Theresa a couple of times in Portland as mum, now deceased, always kept up the family connections. I live in Saint John NB Canada. Sadly our USA connections have been lost with the end of that generation. We come from good people and I will remember you in my prayers. Marykate sheehan
