Terry Tucker Obituary

Terry James was born on April 25th, 1989 to loving parents Terry Sr. and Betsy Tucker of Portland, Maine. He grew up in a busy household surrounded by his four siblings. His parents owned and operated numerous businesses throughout the 90’s and 2000’s. Watching his parents achieve their goals gave Terry aspirations of his own. Following in his father’s footsteps, Terry had a lot of involvement with Terry Sr.’s moving companies, most successful being Tuckers and Sons Moving. They further went on to open A&B Trucking & Moving Services. Terry graduated Deering High School in 2007 and then attended Sothern Maine Community College.

Although Terry had big aspirations and was very loved. He had suffered from depression.

“I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too; but when tomorrow starts without me, just try to understand, an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. He said my place was ready, in heaven far above, and I would have to leave behind all those I dearly love.”

Terry will be dearly missed by his mother Betsy Tucker; His two children Brooklynn Juliette Tucker of Auburn and Jayce James Tucker of Westbrook; Sister Betsy Staples and husband Charlie of Westbrook, ME; Brother Joshua Seavey and wife Courtney of South Carolina; Brother Casey Tucker of Portland; and Terry’s beloved baby sister Jaden Tucker of Westbrook, ME. His grandmother Charity Tucker of Portland, ME. His Nieces; Taylor, Alyssa, and Jorden, and Nephews; Brett, Brady, Jovanni and Giovanni. Terry will also remain in the hearts of his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

“If I could relive yesterday, just even for a while, I’d say good-bye and kiss you, and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, because emptiness and memories would take the place of me. When I thought of worldly things I'd miss come tomorrow, I thought of you and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.”

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Terry Jr. His beautiful blue eyes lit up every room along with his contagious smile. Terry loved to play, walk and adventure out with his son Jayce and Brooklynn will always be daddy’s little girl. Terry will live on in all of our hearts for all eternity. It is never goodbye, because we will see you later, on one sweet day.

“When I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me from his great golden throne. He said ‘today your life on earth has passed, but her life starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last. Since each day is the same there is no longing for the past. You have been so trusting, so faithful and so true, though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn’t do. You have been forgiven, and now at last you're free. Won't you come and take my hand and share my life with me. So, when tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart. For every time you think of me, please know I’m in your heart.”

We all will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives ❤️
