Stacey Michelle Milliken lost her battle with addiction on September 3rd. at her home in Portland Maine. Stacey was born on November 5, 1976, to George and Carol (Nelson) Milliken.
Stacey attended Portland schools and graduated from Catherine McAuley in 1995. Stacey attended Syracuse University and the University of Southern Maine. Stacey was a life-long learner and loved to study. She excelled at American history.
To know Stacey was to lover her. Stacey had the ability to make everyone laugh and smile in any situation.
Stacey was predeceased by her loving grandparents, George (Pat) and Josephine (Lulu) Nelson, George and Theresa Milliken, and her Uncle Richard Nelson.
She is survived by her parents, George and Carol Nelson, brother Shawn and his wife Kari, nephews Owain Mathew and Quinn Oliver Milliken. Stacey also leaves behind aunts, uncles, and cousins all of whom loved her dearly.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 29 at 11:00am at St. Pius Church, Ocean Avenue, Portland.
