Portland - Santino "Sammy" Giusti, 73, passed away peacefully after a long illness October 1, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born February 8, 1950, in Portland the son of Santino A. Giusti Sr. and Mary E. (Tracey) Giusti.

In addition to his parents, Santino was predeceased by his brothers John and Joe Giusti. He is survived by his beloved sons Anthony and Santino Giusti, Susan Giusti, his adored grandchildren Giovanni, Anthony and Isabella Giusti, sisters Irene Esposito, Mary Jo Hunt, brothers Nick Giusti, Paul Giusti, nieces, and nephews.

Santino was caring, loving, kind and a devoted family man. He was the type of man to give you the shirt off of his back and always willing to lend a helping hand to friends, family and those in need.

He was a fan of the Boston Red Sox, New York Giants, was an avid boxing fan and a great pool player. He loved to fish, grow flowers, watch his sons play sports and most of all spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was able to see the New York Giants upset the New England Patriots, twice and see the Red Sox win the World Series 4 times. His smile, laughter and sense of humor could brighten anyone's day.

Memorial Services will be held 3 Pm Friday October 6th at A. T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, with visitation from 1 Pm until time of service. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
