Over the many years of being a grateful tenant in one of Nick's favorite houses on The Hill I have regarded him with awe and admiration, not only for the way he always treated me and my family but also for how well he raised nd cared for his own beautiful family.  I am a better human being for knowing this sweet man.  Whenever he would be irritated by the often overwhelming and unrelenting demands of his business, all it took to bring a smile to his face was to ask him about his grandchildren.  In that moment all else would melt away into pure joy for him.  We are truly filled with sadness with his passing.  May the family feel the blessings, comfort and joy of life lived in faith.

Dear Patricia and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your husband, dad, and grandfather was a man with a giant, kind, generous and considerate heart. I am honored to have counted him a friend. I have so many fond memories of time spent in the basement kitchen enjoying fine food and homemade wine, but time spent with you all was so much more. I enjoyed just being Italian around you all. Nicky's sense of humor presided over it all. I can still hear him saying in that deep voice "almost good" when I would ask how he was. It still brings a smile to my face to think of it. Enjoy as I do the gifts he gave us all.  I will have you all in my prayers. May God bless you all and may your faith provide you comfort
