Naomi Hoffman Meadows, 91
Scarborough Maine-Naomi Hoffman Meadows, formerly of Cumberland Center Maine, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2018, surrounded by family. Naomi was born in Scranton, PA on July 4, 1927, to Agon and Mildred (Cerine) Hoffman. She graduated from Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee in 1949, where she met Eric D. Meadows, Jr. the love of her life.
Naomi spent many years as a legal secretary for law firms in Portland and Cumberland. She spent countless hours making and donating her handmade arts and crafts to the Cumberland Congregational Church fairs, baking for school fund raisers, parking cars at the Cumberland Fair in a selfless manner.
Naomi is predeceased by her husband Eric and her brother Donald Hoffman of Lower Burrell, PA. She is
survived by her son Garry and wife Michele, son Garth and wife Kim and daughter Mindy Donovan and husband Scott, eight grandchildren, Rhianna, Eric, Ian, Dustin, Megan, Taryn, Shaelyn, Sean, and four great grandchildren Simon, Callen, Finnegan, and Molly.
The family would like to thank Scarborough Terrace for all the care and attention given to Naomi.
A memorial service will be held November 18, 2018, at 1 pm at the Cumberland Congregational Church, 282 Main Street, Cumberland.
