I loved, still love my Aunt Janey. She was always there for me, like a 2nd mother. I was very lucky to have her so near to my immediate nuclear family. She was a powerful role model, helped me reason through many difficult transitions and life stages - emotionally, philosophically and even physically. During high school, I fell ill with an auto-immune disease, just as my immediate family had planned to move to a new town, several hours’ drive away. My formidable Aunt Janey looked after me with exquisite care and comfort, whilst I stayed behind and they moved on to set up our new home. I know I’m just one in a million people who’ve benefited from her innate and cultivated set of skills as a healer. I would not have survived without my dear Aunt Janey. I owe her a debt I can never repay, and for which I’m eternally grateful. I miss her so much. Rest in peace, rest in power, fabulous Aunt Janey. Xxxxx 💖✨✨
