Margaret Johnson Obituary

Peggy Johnson, 75, passed away at her home in Portland. She was a self-employed maker of jewelry since the 1970's. She was a graduate of Woodstown High School (1963) and Bloomfield College (1967), both in NJ. In college, she majored in English and minored in art history.

She worked as an editor for an architectural magazine for 3 years before beginning her own business in jewelry making in Philadelphia. She moved to Portland in the 1980s, and was active in community groups and art circles.

She is survived by a sister, Judy Bellando, and a brother, Jay Johnson. Another brother, Drew Johnson, is deceased. She also has a brother-in-law Bob Bellando, and two sisters-in-law Peg Johnson and Marian Harvey, two nephews Dain Johnson and Nick Bellando, and a niece Kathryn Bellando.
