On behalf of the First Congregational Church in Bristol, CT, we share our condolences and celebrate with you Scotty's amazing life.  What a wonderful man, so faithful in his Christian walk, so generous in sharing his many talents with the world.  And of course, that smile!

We would like to express our sincere sympathy to all of Scotty’s family. He was a great friend and we shared many joyful memories when he lived in Bristol. He was a great OM and always worked tirelessly for them.

As a kid, living next door to Uncle Scotty, I remember many days playing with my cousins at their house and out in our yards. If I remember correctly, we saw him once in a kilt. Something really special for us.
My favorite memory of him is when we were all playing outside, all over the hilltop we lived on.
He would put a record on the record player, outside, and play “Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Sport” with the sound turned all the way up.
We kids would come running from all over to him and he would laugh his infectious laugh, and we loved it! I think he did too. It’s a memory I’ll never forget and it makes me smile still, after 60 years!!

This is from Scotty's neighbors David and Karen Wilcock at C21, 17 Blueberry. To his children and friends: Malcolm was an ideal neighbor and we offer you our sincere condolences. I (David) would meet him most frequently at the shared mailboxes, beginning in the winter of 2015-2016. We always had a pleasant chat, which I began to look forward to. This led to Scotty taking me twice over to Partners in World Health for work sessions that I enjoyed very much. We will miss him.
