Le Graziano Obituary

Buxton-Le Thi Graziano, 71, of Buxton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Home.

She was born on October 2, 1946, in South Vietnam, the daughter of Gieng and Sau Nguyen.  Le (or Lan, by her family and friends) was raised in Vietnam but emigrated to Maine after working on American airbases during the Vietnam conflict.  Lan was one of the group of Vietnamese Maine residents to greet the first refugees arriving in Maine in 1975.

Lan worked at Health Tex, Fairchild Semiconductor, and National Semiconductor through the 70’s and 80’s, marrying her husband Joseph Graziano in 1977, settling in Buxton. Later she worked in the Purchasing group at Maine Medical as a receptionist.  She loved meeting and talking to new people and was loved by all who knew her.  Lan helped all the members of her large family, Mother, Father, Brothers, and Sisters emigrate to the US.

Lan has many friends of multiple cultures in the greater Portland area and loved to celebrate with food, drink, and music.  Her laughter was always the loudest and could be heard above all others.  In her younger years, she was an avid Latin dancer and always received applause.

She is predeceased by her Father and Mother.

Lan is survived by her husband of 41 years, Joseph Graziano of Buxton, daughter Linh Le of Medford, MA, granddaughters Michelle Le and Cindy Le also of Medford.  Also, sisters Nguyet Truong and Linda Nguyen of San Jose CA, brother Hoa Nguyen and his wife Bich Lien of Portland, brother Loc Nguyen and his wife Thao of Dorchester, brother My Nguyen of Dorchester, brother Phung Nguyen and wife Lien of San Diego, cousin Kim Nga Nguyen and husband Phi of South Portland and many nieces and nephews.
