Our sincere condolences from the Serappa family. I remember from my early childhood visiting and swimming in pool when I was kid. We lost my Mom to the same terrible disease this past June. It is a blessing her suffering is over, but I truly understand the loss of a Mom or wife.

Dan and Tracie:

Tracie, I'm Becky Pride's sister, and I worked with Kay at the Press Herald along time ago.

I was so sad to see her obituary this morning online from Tucson, but happy to see her beautiful face again. I loved her. She was so fun and funny, always happy and totally in love with you, Danny. She used to tell us how handsome you were, and, one time, you came into the office and we all saw you and agreed 100 percent. See? she said.

I knew her best when she was in the newsroom working on the switchboard part-time. I loved sitting next to her finding out what was going on. She radiated good health and energy all the time, her face beautiful and sunny, reflecting her love of the beach.

She lived a grand life, and we in the newsroom were lucky to have shared some of it with her.

Thinking of you and your family and Kay...

I remember visiting with you when Dad dropped me off on weekends. I loved to explore that building. Thank you for you kind words and remembrance. ~Tracie
