Hi Carolyn.. I am so sorry to learn of Jim's passing, and have fond memories of our friendship, shared humor, and as colleagues when we worked at the Central Office/Portland Public Schools in the '80's.  I still remember the great parties which we celebrated with you annually in honor of Jim's Halloween birthday.  I tried to reach him by phone recently, but sadly, couldn't locate a phone number to call.  I have also posted a few memories along w/ his obituary on my Facebook page because I have a close friend who also worked with us during those years, and for anyone else who may have known Jim.
