James Stephen Taylor

Jim Taylor was head and shoulders above every supervisor that I worked with at Portland Post Office. Letter Carriers probably never realized how much of the B.S. from above that he filtered out. Very reasonable and very fair.  His sense of humor was his greatest attribute! Too bad they all weren’t like Jim Taylor. Condolences to Jeff and the rest of the family.

My sincere condolences to Jim's Family, as one of Jim's life long friends. We were baseball team mates together at Deering H.S, both shared life long careers in the Military, and became frequent golfing partners upon retirements. I will miss Jim, especially his emails that he shared right up to the end.

Jim was always a light in a room.  He made everyone laugh.  He was a friend to all that knew him.  I will miss him.
