It was always a pleasure having Sandy join us for classes here at WoodenBoat School in Brooklin, ME. He was also a regular participant in our annual Alumni Work Weeks held each May. Although Sandy has crossed the bar, his spirit will live on here at our campus.

My dear Sandy...didn’t we have some laughs! The years that you spent with Lin were such fun. We had several thanksgivings at your beautiful place. Always a gentleman and a storyteller. You and Rick bartered about boat repair and care. I’m so glad that you returned one of his half hulls to me along with a memorable picture last year. I was always touched that you continued to drop by and say hello each year. I will miss you, my friend. Rest well.
