To Bruce & family...I am sorry for your loss. When my Mother was at St. Joe's, your Mom was the receptionist. As we dealt with the uncertainties of Alzheimers, I knew I was guaranteed a smiling welcome from your Mom when I entered St. Joseph's Manor. She was a lovely woman with an infectious smile and laugh. As I found out with my Mother, she may be gone but she is still very much a part of you. When the pain of her passing hits you, remember your Moms' laugh and she'll get you through this.

To Bruce and all of Isabelle's family. So many wonderful memories that only seemed like moments ago have been racing thru my mind upon learning of Isabelle's passing. Every time I entered the house in North Deering I was greeted with a warm smile followed by how are you doing.
The Lyman Moore then Portland High tight circle of loyal friends consisting of Phil Nappi, Steve Manoogian, Bun Bunnell along with Bruce and I thought we were the In Crowd. Isabelle knew we were just young clueless kids trying to find our way. Asking us what was up was nothing more than her being polite and kind, knowing we didn't know up from down.
Coming across her many pictures taken at St. Joe's gave me pause after I had been here for just a couple of months. Her memory here at St. Joe's still lives strong. "A beautiful lady, inside and out". "Isabelle gave style to the word style every day at St. Joe's.
I cherish my memories of Bruce and I hanging with Vincent and Raymond when they lived on Forest Ave. A safe place to hang and chill and learn the real ropes of life. Thank you for allowing me to be a friend in a great friendly family. I was never judged, only welcomed. Just the way Isabelle taught us all. May God bless her family.
