Ida Theresa Childs

I am so sorry to hear of her passing.  I am the daughter of Roberta Marcroft and met with her about 15 years ago.  I loved her smile.

I met Ida during my Paint Classes at Avita!  She soon became one of my favorite Artist's . Ida had a  gift of making me smile, coming through the door for art class, she most always had a cookie in hand, broke off a piece for me, always had a hug and a smile! I will miss her kind, funny beautiful soul! Paint the heavens in  beautiful Hues, Ida!  RIP, my sweet little friend!                                                Hope Place~

My dad, Hank, was a fellow resident with Ida at Avita. I always loved how much spunk and humor she brought to every interaction. No doubt she'll be dearly missed there.

I met Ida through Avita while visiting my Mom. She was one of my favorites! When I said "hi Ida", she'd smile & say "hi!" loudly and firmly. She loved her snacks! Condolences to her family. So hard to lose one you love, especially when they drift away cognitively first. May God give you peace.

I met Ida at the Maine Mall quite a few years ago. She was a lively and positive lady and always fun to be around. She will be missed. RIP Ida
