George Ralph Bolduc

My sympathies to Lillian and all of the Bolduc's. I didn't have the good fortune of having Ralph as a teacher, but I was lucky enough to have him as part of my life for about 40 years after meeting Will in middle school. From day 1 I always felt welcomed and part of the family which was very comforting as a only child meeting new friends and exploring a new neighborhood. As I got older I always loved catching up Ralph and Lillian at various times in my life and being able to share a laugh and a story about what was going on in mine or "William's" life, or reminiscing about old Portland vs. the new changing Portland. Those chats will be missed, but the memories are cherished. To reiterate what Kate Coyne said--Ralph was a kind man with a warm heart and soul, and someone who always made me feel heard, welcomed, and loved. You will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to Mr. Bolduc's family. I have fond memories of running summer track with Will and seeing his parents at meets. Mr. Bolduc was a kind man with a warm heart and soul. 

My family and I want to thank everyone who has made a beautiful and kind comment about my dad. All of us have read them, talked about them, laughed and cried. All of the names from the past and present are known by all of us. Dad had the ability to remember his friends, family and students right up until the end. We can’t thank you enough for bringing us happiness during this time of sadness.

Mr. Bolduc was that special teacher that knew exactly how to teach freshmen Algebra at Cape HS.  I adored the class, learning algebra, and it was Mr. Bolduc’s clear instruction that brought the whole thing to life for me.  May he Rest In Peace, he was a good man doing good things in this world.
