Also Betsy would totally be so mad if she saw that her birthday was printed incorrectly... she was 70. ( 12-17-47 ) And even that, she was already ticked off about, haha

Betsy.... I have so many spectacular memories I could share with the world... but I will keep this (sort of) short and sweet... you and I became very close and our bond was instant. There was nothing I would not have done for you.. you were truly an incredible woman! I love all your stories and memories you’ve shared with me... hearing about all your adventures and accomplishments.. most of all the memories we were able to make together. You became my best friend during my time caring for you. I will always hold our memories very close to me, and I will forever hold you close to my heart! Thank you for caring for me just as much as I did you, even though it was my “job” to do so- it became much less than a job and more of a privilege to be able to spend most of our days together. Never a dull moment with you, that is for certain!! Thank you for being you... So until next time Beby......... love ya❤️ - Rachel

What can I say about my wonderful cousin Betsy. I will never forget the first time I met her in the mid 1960's when she visited us in England - an all American girl in Wolverhampton - what an impression she made ! In 1977 Betsy made another big impression when she decided to live in England so it was a cold November day when she arrived at our front door but she brought sunshine with her and what a time we all had even if our consumption of tea did triple. Betsy's love for Christmas infected us all and remains one of the most memorable in our family.

There are so many memories from over all these years...impossible to list here so let this simple verse be our tribute:

Missing our conversations
Your laughter and your love
From sunny Summer Street to the 'port
From Kennebunk (and England!) to Portland
Along the way you took us with you too

Love always

I’m so very sorry Andrew and Ann. It was so nice to be able to “meet” you via FaceTime. Betsy was very very dear to me and I’ll always hold her very close to my heart! My condolences are with you!! Sending much love and support in these hard times.... Take care. Much Love, Rachel (Betsy’s caregiver)

You will always be in my memories.  We had a lots of good times.  Yard sales at your house on Walton Street, Christmas shopping in Boston, the mystery dinner at Paul and Nancy's, and visits at my mom and dad's.  So sorry I didn't see you in these recent years.  Love you and Nicki always.  Sharon

Betsy spent many hours at our house when she was in her early 20s . We were referred to as her over 30 friends.. She always had a funny story and if it wasn't funny it would end up funny. I am very saddened by her passing.
