It's been such a blessing to be friends with Ed and in our men's Bible study group for over 20 years! He had a lot of good input and Godly wisdom. I really appreciated him offering to host our group in his place a number of years ago. It meant so much for him and for us to continue meeting even when he was suffering and not able to fully participate because of his illness. I also appreciated Ed's encouragement to have Rich read the devotion for the day and for us to do communion together each time we met. He also helped us keep a strong focus on prayer. Ed will continue to meet with us in our group in spirit as he is in our hearts. I'm sure we will think of him often.

You will be missed our brother, our friend! See you again some day in heaven!

Dorie and family, I send my condolences and you are in our thoughts and prayers. We'll be checking in with you from time to time.

I will miss you so much and truthfully you were the first person who accepted me over 22 years ago into the family.. your words while I was going through a moment are what helped guide me to a different path.. I can’t thank you enough even though at times I curse at myself and say thanks Eddie 😂.. I love you and we will all make sure Dorie is ok.. promise promise

I can honestly say that I am glad to have met you.. you truly were the first person to accept me into the family.. I was sitting on your porch crying trying to figure out the next step.. I never heard you or saw you but you were there your hand on my shoulder guiding me, if it wasn’t for you my life could have been completely different.”open your heart, he’s not a bad guy it’s just he needs to listen to his heart.”. I will ALWAYS remember that moment and I can not express my heartfelt thanks and love.. I will miss you immensely
