Dorothy (Dottie) L Bagley 1946-2021

Dorothy L Bagley, 75, of Addison, died peacefully after a short period of declining health on October 16, 2021 under the care of The Rumford Community House, Rumford, Me. Dottie was born April 15, 1946, daughter of Raymond E. and Florence M. (Parsons) Huckins. Dottie attended Milbridge schools. In 1966 Dottie and her family moved to Portland, in 1975 she married Milton Bagley of Clinton, CT, they lived in Connecticut until moving back to Maine in 1980. Dottie was employed at Wyman’s Blueberry factory up until 2011, when she retired.  Dottie loved to dance and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. 

Dottie was predeceased by her husband Milton Bagley, parents Raymond and Florence Huckins, her sister June Bagley, her son Leslie E Huckins, two grandchildren Leslie Marie Moreland and Stephen Eugene Huckins.

She is survived by her brother Galen Huckins and sister-in-law Rosalie Rockwell of Harrington, Me. Sister Paula Macdonald and brother-in-law Bradford Macdonald of Naples, Me. One granddaughter Candice Nicole Huckins, grandchildren Serena Marie Huckins, Kitana Kaylee Huckins, and Devonté Anthony Moreland all of Georgia, along with many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at the Rock Maple Cemetery, Harrington, ME on October 25, 2021 at 1 PM.  

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
