Donnie was a great friend of Rodney Quinn's so it was through him that we met Donnie.  Always smiling - great guy to just be around - Penny Nichols Card and I used to meet them for lunch in the years after Quinn was no longer Secretary of State.  It is with a very heavy heart that I learn of Donnie's passing.  My deep and sincere condolences to his family.

I am so sad Michelle and Pete learning of Dad's passing.  He was one of a handful of adults who taught me how to be the good guy, do the job the right way, stay humble and count your blessings.  Being 17 and getting keys to a company truck so I could take his kids out riding on their mini-bikes made me feel like the CEO of Donalco.  I still feel building the Audubon building in Falmouth was his legacy.  That building today has more today than when Donnie built it in 1976.  He made so much fun of me when I came to work at the senior housing development in Falmouth driving my brother's XKE 67 Jag.  I swear Donnie questioned if I was a real American driving that car from another continent!  I was blessed to stay in touch with Donnie thru Jerry Cole, basketball at the Expo and helping with Carol.  The world needs more on Donnie Peters, he led with kindness his entire life.  I for one became better the first day I met him in 1974.  May God bless his family.

Michelle, Pete,& family.  I just learned of your Dad's passing and I am so so sorry.  He was one of a kind and a true gentleman.  I enjoyed many rides with him, great conversation always and good advise always. He never had anything but a kind and gentle heart & soul.  He was truly proud of his grandsons and loved them dearly.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
