David Peter Keenan

Hi Dan (Dany),
I was saddened to read David's obit Sunday. I not infrequently think back to grade school when we were the best of friends, and David was the BIG brother who ruled the roost.
And the great fun had with our "adventurea in the woods", playing tag football in Butch H's back yard up the street, and (me) cutting through neighbors' back yards along the creek to your house, that awful "breakfast" (a raw egg in a glass of vinegar) you'd have before blasting out the door.
You had a super mom and dad and great Irish family.
Many years ago I took my wife down memory lane, figuratively and litterally, walking down Kelsey St., only to find your family house was no longer the last house on the left.
My thoughts, best wishes and condolences are with you and your siblings today.
The best to you and them, and of course to the spouses and children/grandchildren too.

I remember David from working on the farm with him in the summer of the 8th grade. I then joined him in high school and he was a very special friend. I will always remember him with the fondest memories possible, and hold him near and dear to me

David was one of the smartest, funniest guys I have ever know. One of a kind in the very best way.
We will miss his witty sense of humor and off the cuff comments that always put a smile on your face.
Cheers to you David- we will truly miss you~

My condolences, although I did not know David, my mothers family are Keenans from Shannon Bridge, Ireland. I thought i'd mention this in the likely case he is a distant unknown cousin. My grandfather Martin along with his brothers James, Charles, came to New England in the 1890s. and David resembles our Keenan clan. Again my condolences.
