Obituary
Nevada - Daniel (Danny) Scott Lee, 56, passed away after a brief illness in Las Vegas NV on Sunday, April 30th, 2023. He was born in Portland Maine to Robert Danny Lee and Margaret Mae (LeClerc) Lee on August 8th, 1966. Danny attended St Joseph’s Parish School and graduated from Cheverus High School in 1984. He worked throughout his childhood at his family’s business, Terroni’s Market, in Portland. He proudly served in both the United States Marine Corps and Navy.
Danny traveled around the world for many years and held a variety of positions, primarily in the shipping industry, prior to settling in Las Vegas. He will be remembered by his overwhelming generosity, his kindness and his sharp Maine humor. He never met a stranger. Danny was aways willing to help anyone at anytime. He was simply the very best. His unexpected death is devastating to those that loved him.
Danny was pre-deceased by his parents. He is survived by siblings Catherine A. Saltz of Yardley, PA; Robert J. Lee, with wife Caroline, of Cape Elizabeth; Kellie M Lee of Portland; and honorary sibling, cousin Peter Morong of South Portland. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Adrienne Saltz, Jonathan Saltz, Elizabeth Saltz, Patrick Lee, Caitlin Lee and Meghan Lee.
Danny will be laid to rest with his parents in Calvary Cemetery in a private burial.
