Charles Edmund "Sookie" Lausier

At brother David's wake, Sookie quietly mentioned that "We all remember him in our own way." I have thought of that sentiment many times over the years and I feel this might be a way of remembering his time with us. We share common events, experiences of him, but also personal thoughts about him. I prefer to remember his kindness and humor, and love of music, dance and fun-loving gathers. Now he with be going back home to rest. Suzanne

Brother Sookie was always running around playing cars, cowboys, etc. I remember hearing a sound like a big truck in the kitchen. I couldn't figure out where the noise was coming from. Mama pointed to the lower cabinet. I opened the door and found him using a pot cover, making believe the cabinet was his vehicle. He had a great time being occupied.

I love hearing stories of him as a kid. I love hearing what times were like when he grew up
