She made me laugh. Her humor was contagious, and she was a joy to be with. Getting on our bus for our Mystery Lunch outing, she would say to Andy, "Where we going'"? She was the genuine article, loving her family and treasuring her friends. She will be missed.

Carlene was one of the loudest, funniest, most loved ladies I ever knew. We shared many trips and meals going on our community's bus. Her favorite question every time she boarded the bus to go to a "mystery lunch" was "Where we going?", knowing full well she wouldn't know until we got there. :)  Several of us were treated to friendship and a cookout at her home, something my partner and I have never forgotten. I will miss seeing you and wish peace for you. Love and remembrance. Valerie
