My deepest condolences to the Leone family. I spent many years with Fred in the Elks and considered him a mentor.
My fond regards to Larry.

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:

Larry Leone was a dear friend of mine at Portland High School, and I want to express my condolences to him and his family on the passing of his mother. I do recall that both she and Larrys dad were much engaged in and with Larrys circle of friends and always, of course, supportive of those relationships.

As I read your obituary, I noticed that Mrs. Leone was born a MacWilliam in Portland. I am wondering whether she was related to the wonderful MacWilliams family that lived on Munjoy Hills Howard Street when I lived nearby on Beckett Street. I may well have known of that relationship back in high school, but I just dont recall it at this time.

Please do wish Larry my best and warmest regards.

Sincerely yours,
David S. Turesky

I worked with Beth at Peat Marwick for almost 18 years. Beth was a wonderful person to work with. She administratively supported the tax professionals and was very thorough and careful to make sure our clients received their income tax returns timely. She had a wonderful personality. Even in the most stressful times she could find a way to comfort her co-workers. The only "fault" that I remember about Beth was her passionate love of the NY Yankees. I have thought of her often and am happy to hear that she has had a long and rewarding life. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Aunt Beth was one of a kind. Dick and I feel so lucky to have had her in our lives. Beth was a friend, mentor, and lucky for us the greatest aunt anyone could wish for. She and Freddie will live in our hearts forever.
