Avis Malloch, 88, died Thursday, March 5, 2020, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House after a long struggle with cardiac issues.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald Peter Malloch and two children, Donald Malloch Jr., and Julie Chapman.
She is survived by her daughter Gloria Martell and her husband James as well as three grandchildren Heidi Coombs and her husband Jim and Jamie Martell and her partner Troy Beason and grandson Brandon Pottios. She has six great-grandchildren Olivia and Jack Coombs, Dathan Tropnas and Isabella, Alexa and Gabby Pottios.
She was a dedicated member of the Webb Mills Free Baptist Church and was faithful in her love for her savior.
She lived in Westbrook for many years and worked at Sebago Moc until her retirement then moved to camp with her husband.
She was known to be very friendly and usually passed out lifesavers to people she met along her day and many became her friends. She loved to go out to eat with friends and family and also loved to welcome company. She also loved her many nieces and nephews and one niece did a lot to make her last days comfortable, Deanna and her husband Paul. Her dogs were also a great love and comfort for her.
A service will be held on April 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Windham Baptist Church 973 River Road Windham Maine 04062. Burial will be at a later date in Arlington Cemetery in Windham.
