Arthur "Art" D. Paisley

PORTLAND – Arthur D. "Art"  Paisley,82, died October 5, 2023, at Gosnell Hospice House in Scarborough ME. He was born Portsmouth, NH on February 8, 1941 the son of Charles H. and Harriet D. Paisley.

He graduated from Portsmouth, NH in 1959, Wentworth Institute Boston, MA in 1963. Worked at Argon Nuclear Plant Idaho Falls, ID 1963-1965; GE 1966-1996 and various jobs from 1996-2016.  He was a member of the Elks, Fraternal Order of the Eagles Club, Moose Lodge, Sons of AMVETS.

   In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Nancy.  Survivors are his brothers Albert H. Paisley and his wife Linda of Topsham, ME; Peter E. Paisley and his wife Paulette M. of Eliot, ME; his daughters Jennifer L. Luban of Greenville, SC; Theresa L. Herzog and her husband Steven W. of Bonneau, SC; and his son Steven A. Paisley of Dover, NH; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 The family would like to thank the staff at the Gosnell Hospice House for all the loving care that Arthur received and the wonderful support that they provided to his family.

   Visiting hours will be held from  2-4 pm, Wednesday, October 18th, at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland ME.

 Donations may be made to the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland, ME.
