Anthony was first chair next to me my sophomore year of high school. he was SUCH an inspiration. I had been playing the clarinet for less than 2 years, and while I felt like I picked it up quickly, freshman year I had felt very small. Anthony never once made me feel small. Before auditioning at USM at the end of my senior year, I took lessons with him to up my game. When I was placed, I was 6th and ended up sitting right next to him again. I have thought of him very often and very fondly over the years. He was truly someone special and I will forever be grateful for the time that we had.
