Andrew and I were in the same multiage class in middle school for 2 years. His humor and commentary always lightened the mood and had me thinking from new perspectives. After middle school, Andrew and I’s paths didn’t cross much, but I remember him as a smart, inquisitive, genuine and thoughtful young man. I’m deeply crestfallen in hearing of his passing, as I was so certain even at that age, that Andrew would move on to change the world around him for the better. I wish he had more time. His unique take on things can’t be replicated. He will be missed on this earth, but his spirit lives on in our remembrance of this bright young person. I hope more can be done for men’s mental health as a society and community. My deepest possible condolences go out to Andrew’s friends and family. I’m sorry there’s not much I can say to lesson the grief I’m sure you are all feeling at such a time. Just know that your community stands with you to support you all in our thoughts and hopes for the future ❤️
