Alice was an active member of Stevens Ave Congregational Church. Her big smile and positive attitude could light up the room. Though I was a new member when I first started to get to know her as she moved into Park Danforth I came to know the elder Alice even more. She was so proud of her loving family and would affirm God's loving kindness as we muddled over jigsaws, read the Sunday paper or tried to figure out the remote. I know we will all miss her but are happy knowing she is rejoicing in His Grace and Glory with Earle. The picture was a fun Christmas event with Helen Duncanson and Alice at Park Danforth with Joanna Howard and I.

I will always have great memories of Alice. Growing up I always played with her kids, Steve and Earlene, and spent several nights at the Kitchen's house. Alice always was such a kind and loving mom who seemed to always maintain a great, warm demeanor. She created such a feeling of family. Alices husband, Earl, was a big part of my life as he was a mentor to me at Noyes Tire.
My condolences to all the Kitchen family as I know they will greatly miss Alice . Love, Herbie Noyes

Mrs. Kirchen was a supporter of all the kids on Mona Road. Her famous toasted peanut and marshmallow sandwiches were the hit of the neighborhood. She enjoyed coffee with my mom and going to the gym twice weekly for years. Rest In Peace Mrs. Kitchen.
