Abigail Nyhan

I met Abby in 1969 in La Jolla as students after we both moved there. We were friends through high school. I tried to stay in touch with her through the years.

I just learned of her passing through the La Jolla HS Reunion Memory Book. I am sorry for her passing. She was a great friend to so many and I loved her parents too.

I worked with Abby in 2005 at Seventy Five State Street. I was an new graduate RN and Abby was a patient, gentle, and kind mentor to me. I am so sorry for your loss.

Abby Nyhan was one of the finest, kindest and most loving human beings I ever met. It was truly an honor to have walked on the Earth during the time that she did.
I was there and witnessed the fire and rain times and Abby, who got the wettest and felt the most heat, showed the quiet greatness in her character before and after by her continued concern for those around her. Abby was simply the most incredible person I have ever known. I had to leave that place then and have only have had social media contact with her in recent years but I have never forgotten who she was or what an amazing, incredible person she was.
My deepest sympathies to the Nyhan family on your loss, to Keith and to George and to the other friends who were as fortunate as I to have encountered Abby during her beautiful journey.
