Truman B. Amnott, Jr. October 30, 1935 April 29, 2014 Portland- Truman B. Amnott, Jr.,78, of Wayside Rd., died Tuesday April 29, 2014 at the Gosnell House, surrounded by his family. Born in Augusta, he is a son of Truman B. and Ellen P. Bailey Amnott, Sr. He was employed by P.J. Merrill for 20 years as a fisherman. He enjoyed riding his bike, walking, working out at the gym, watching John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies and listening to Elvis Presley. He is survived by his wife of 29 years Chanthy Thouk, his three stepdaughters, Sichan Vann, Chandy Vann and her husband Max Rarn and Sinath Vann, three sisters, Dorothy Wallace, Jacqueline McNally and Lucille Amnott, three aunts, Marjorie Winslow, Elizabeth Rafford and Doris Kenney, four uncles, Elmer Amnott, Raymond Amnott, Maurice Amnott and Roland Amnott. He is also survived by ten step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 8 a.m. on Saturday May 3, 2014 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland.
