Obituary

Tracy McAnany Clark Denham, 54, of Portland, died Friday September 1, 2017 with her family by her side after fighting pulmonary fibrosis. Tracy was born in Portland on June 30, 1963 to Charles and Christine (O'Reilly) McAnany.  She grew up on Munjoy Hill and graduated from Portland High School in 1981. She worked at Maine Medical Center in various positions in the emergency department for close to thirty years. She loved her job at Maine Medical Center and work family but the most important thing to her was her family, her daughter Kaitlyn and sons, Justin and Taylor, and also her beautiful grandchildren, Justin David, Chloe and Sophia. Tracy was an incredible woman who raised two grandchildren, Justin and Sophia, for the last eight years.  She fought so hard to beat her disease in order to continue to raise them, but in the end, it was just too much. She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Tim McAnany, a niece Shelley Calvert and her son Justin Michael Clark, who died on July 27, 2017. Tracy is survived by and will be deeply missed by her children Kaitlyn and her fiancé Kris, Taylor and his fiancé Casey and their father Leonard Clark, her grandchildren Justin David, Chloe and Sophia, her sisters, Patricia Brewer and her husband Rusty, Kathleen McCullum and her husband Bill and Margaret Calvert, her sister in law Dolores McAnany, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial visiting hours will be Thursday September 7, 2017, from 4-6pm at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave. Portland, with a service to follow at 6pm.   Burial will be at 9:30 am on Friday, September 8, 2017 at New Calvary Cemetery.
