Timothy McCaffrey, 48, of Portland ME, passed away on December 6, 2018.  He was born in Lowell, MA on July 17, 1970, a son of Mary Gudmand McCaffrey and William J. McCaffrey.    He is a graduate of Boston University, Tyngsboro campus where he majored in Information Technology.   Tim enjoyed working on computers, travel and doing volunteer work. He was a kind and generous person with a great sense of humor. Tim was predeceased by his brother John.   He is survived by his parents Mary McCaffrey of Nashua, NH, William McCaffrey of Wildwood, FL and his sister Susan McCaffrey of West Springfield, MA.  A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday December 10, 2018 at the Salvation Army chapel, 88 Prebble St, Portland, ME.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Salvation Army Rehabilitation Unit, 88 Prebble St, Portland, ME 04101.
