Theresa C Enman November 21,1933 February 28, 2016 Theresa C Enman Scarborough - Theresa C. Enman, 82, died February 28, 2016, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. She was born November 21, 1933, in Kingman, the daughter of Stanley and Arline (Ashey) DeMerritt. Theresa Attended Portland High School and graduated with the class of 1951. On May 12, 1952 she married Charles Enman. Theresa liked playing cards, traveling to Foxwoods and Atlantic City, She enjoyed her time spent with family be it boating at the lake or celebrating the holidays and family birthdays. Theresa enjoyed the Ocean and looked forward to her trips to Prince Edward Island. She also had the fondest memories of flying to San Juan Porta Rico to visit her Best Friend Bertha. Theresa is survived by her husband of 63 years Charles Enman Sr; her children Joyce Nielsen, Janet Cordier and her husband Kevin, Charles Enman Jr and his wife Susan, Joanne Palanza and her husband Richard, and John Enman; brother Stanley DeMerritt and his wife Vinnie; an Aunt Ella Ashey; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and a sister Doreen Burns. The family would like to thank the staff of Maine Medical Center Intensive Care Unit, and Gosnell Memorial Hospice House for their excellent care. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 10am to 12pm with funeral services to follow at 12pm, on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at A. T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
