Suzanne passed away peacefully on the 4th of July, 2024, a fitting day, as she loved America, freedom, and the Flag. She was born in Portland, ME on August 4th, 1939. We will deeply miss this wonderful woman who loved spending time with her family. She was quick-witted, loved writing poetry, reading, laughing, joking, and reminiscing about her childhood in Portland. We feel comforted knowing this woman of devout faith is now with Jesus, her parents, Edward Swett Huff II and Beatrice Black Huff Farr, and her son, David. She is survived by her brother, Edward S. Huff III; daughter, Laurie Guay Caiazzo and son-In-law, Warren Caiazzo; sons, Lawrence A. Guay, Jr., and Nathaniel E.H. Gordon; four grandchildren, Zachary Caiazzo, Rachel Caiazzo, Amanda Guay, and Amy Fontaine; and two great-grandsons, Tyson Caiazzo and Jax Fontaine. The family would like to thank the staff of Sedgewood Commons in Falmouth, ME for the compassionate support and care they provided to Suzanne while she was residing there. Burial will be private. A celebration of Suzanne's life to be announced at a later date.
