Steven J. Anderson January 27, 1965 January 10, 2013 Portland - Steven J. Anderson, 47, of Portland, passed away on January 10, 2012, after a brief illness. Steven was born in Quonset, RI, on January 27, 1965, during his father's service with the Navy. He was the son of George J. and Janice D. (Libby) Anderson. After his father's naval service, the family moved to Scarborough. Steven attended Scarborough schools and then traveled to Florida to attend motorcycle mechanic's school. Motorcycles were his passion. He would take any chance he could to be out on the road, having the wind blow through his hair. He was the ultimate free spirit and truly loved life. Steven was predeceased by his mother and his two brothers, James P. Anderson and George J. Anderson, III. He is survived by his father, George J. Anderson of Scarborough and his aunt, Cynthia (Anderson) Neal of Virginia. He is also survived by other numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
