Shirley Marie Lewellyn** **March 3, 1935 - September 15, 2024** It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Lewellyn, who left this world peacefully surrounded by many loved ones on September 15, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on March 3, 1935, Shirley lived a full and vibrant life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She cherished her family above all else, and her unwavering support and wisdom touched the lives of many. She was a long-time resident of Northfield Green where she had a lot of friends including her best friend, Carolyn Weymouth. Shirley and Carol always had adventures taking the bus to Reny's, the Maine Mall or checking out many yard sales. Shirley spent some time working, but her most rewarding years were raising her three children. Shirley and Harold's house was always full of friends and family with weekly parties, card games, cookouts, and water fights. Shirley was preceded by the love of her life for 62 years, Harold Lewellyn, in 2014. She was preceded in death by her son Gary Lewellyn in 1985 and by her three sisters, Phyllis Perez, Sara Huff, and Lorraine Miller Shirley legacy lives on through who will carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by daughters Candace Bragdon of Leesburg, FL, Crystal Fish and her spouse Timothy Fish of Westbrook, ME, and Daughter-In-Law Phyllis Lewellyn of Clearwater, FL. She is survived by grandchildren Stephen Lewellyn and his spouse Dawn Lewellyn of Largo, FL, Julia Sousa and husband Matthew Sousa of Auburn, ME, Melissa Fish and her Partner of Henderson, NV, and Jennifer Fish and Partner Dellas Nason, of Scarborough, ME. She is survived by great-grandchildren Bailey Dennis and husband Erik Dennis of Junction City KS, Jacob Conant and partner Ella Perry of Auburn, ME, Hannah Conant of Auburn, ME, and Makayla Lewellyn of Largo, FL. Hannah Conant blessed Shirley with her first great-great grandson 5-month-old Colby Michael Vincent, who she adored. She is also survived by many nieces and a nephew, as well as their families. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her generous heart, and the profound love she showed to everyone she met. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her. We love you bunches. There will not be any services at this time. A graveside service will take place at a later date.
