Sarah Teresa Lindahl, was born in Bangor Maine, on October 2, 1930, and passed away on January 11, 2026, at the age of 95. 

Sarah was one of six children. Her Irish heritage and Catholic faith was very important to her. She graduated from John Bapst High School and shortly after married Richard C. Lindahl. They raised five children and eventually settled in Falmouth Maine.

Once her children were of school age, she became the proprietor of Foreside Variety. She ran the store for several years and met many customers who became good friends. She was well respected in the community.

After selling the store she went to work for Portland Pilots. She loved working down on the waterfront in Portland Maine. She managed the office taking care of the books and directing ship traffic for the captains. She retired at the age of 72.

Throughout the years she enjoyed many activities including spending summers at camp, dancing, music, painting and shopping. Most recently, she was a big Celtics fan and liked watching men’s golf.

Sarah greatest joy were her children, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
