Rosina "Rose" Tracy August 13, 1917 December 20, 2011 Portland - Rosina ""Rose"" (Ventresca) Tracy, 94, passed away on December 20, 2011 at Seaside Nursing and Retirement Home in Portland. Rose was born in Portland on August 13, 1917, the daughter of Carmine and Philomena (Fidei) Ventresca and grew up in the Munjoy Hill Area. She attended Portland Schools, graduating from Portland High School in 1934. In 1936, she married Philip M. Tracy of Houlton. Rose was predeceased by her husband, a son, Glen and her eight brothers and one sister. She is survived by her son, John Tracy and his wife Sheila of Gray and a granddaughter, Allison Tracy of Scarborough. She is also survived by two very special nieces, RoseMarie of Belfast and Debbie of South Paris along with many other nieces and nephews and a very dear friend, Lydia Graves of South Portland. A special thanks to the staff on Wing Four at Seaside Nursing and Retirement Home. A celebration of life will be held this Spring. Arrangements are by Independent Death Care of Maine.
