Roger William LeBlanc Sr. passed away peacefully in his home in Windham, Maine, on Little Sebago Lake, June 12, 2024, at 68 years old. Roger was born on August 6th, 1955, to Gordon and Edna LeBlanc of Littleton, Massachusetts, the 7th of 11 children. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, son-in-law, and a friend to everyone he met. Roger served as the president of his senior class at Littleton High School. He attended Massachusetts College of Pharmacy where he was an active member of the Phi Delta Chi Fraternity and met the love of his life, Mary Josephine Parisi. When they married in 1978 Mary was pursuing her career as a pharmacist while Roger trained as an Airborne Ranger in the U.S. Army. Roger and Mary were together for 46 loving years. Roger graduated from U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in 1990 and earned his Master's Degree in Information Technology from George Mason University in 1993. Roger served honorably in the US Army in the Medical Service Corps for 20 years, retiring at the distinguished rank of Lt. Colonel. Together he and Mary traveled the world with their four children, making lifelong friends everywhere they went. They spent time in Virginia, Massachusetts, Texas, Germany, Kansas, Hawaii, and Maryland. In 2014, Roger and Mary found their dream home on the shores of Little Sebago Lake in Windham, Maine, where he enjoyed boating and spending time with his family. He faithfully cared for his 100 year old mother-in-law, Connie Parisi. Roger and Mary created an oasis where all were welcome to relax and be together. Roger was always drawn to serving his community. In Hawaii, he was co-captain of the Hickam Waterski Team. He and Mary volunteered countless hours in the band booster programs at his children's schools. He was active in the Littleton Rotary, Quartermaster of the Boy Scouts, and sang baritone in the Nashoba Valley Chorale. He drove the Safety Boat on Little Sebago Lake and served as a member of the Lake Association. Roger found joy as a driver's aid for RSU 14, helping special education students safely get to school. The day before he passed, Roger was volunteering at the polls at the Windham town hall. Roger was charming, charismatic, thoughtful, funny, loving and was always there for his friends and family. He is sorely missed. Roger is preceded in death by his parents Edna and Gordon, sister Carole, daughter-in-law Hannah Marie, and Jean and Warren McManus. He is survived by nine sibling: Cecile Johnson, Gordon LeBlanc, Phyllis Worthley, Helene Tassone, Nannette Foley, Michelle Duffett, Andrea LeBlanc, Yvonne Cedergren, and Donna Arnold and many, many nieces and nephews. Additionally, Roger is survived by his loving wife Mary, the extended Parisi family, his four children, Joseph and his wife Kyung, Matthew, Danielle and her husband James Spizuoco, and Roger Jr. and his partner Javier Lara Cartagena, and three treasured grandsons, Emery, Ellis, and Oscar.
