Rodney A. Wesbter, Jr. October 4, 1951 October 3, 2014 Scarborough - Rodney A Webster, 62, of Windham, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2014 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House due to declining heath. Rodney was born on October 4, 1951 in Portland, the son of Rodney A. Webster and Joanne (Connolly) Webster. Roddy grew up in Portland's Munjoy Hill neighborhood and received his GED from Portland High School. He worked for several years as a seasonal laborer for Tilcon Paving and for the City of Portland, at the Riverside Golf Course and Forest City Cemetery. Roddy was an avid boxing fan and as a young man was an amateur fighter where his friends gave him the name "K-O"" Webster. He faithfully followed the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots and also enjoyed being a history buff. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years Susan (Aceto) Webster who remained by his side throughout his illness, granddaughter Rachel Webster of Windham, brother Thomas Webster of Portland, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Roddy is predeceased by his son Rodney A. Webster, III, grandparents, parents, and brothers Bryant, Danny, Barry and Michael. A graveside service will be held at The New Calvary Cemetery in South Portland on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 10:30am followed by a celebration of his life at the Harold T.
