Robert Arthur Farr "Bob" June 13, 1934 December 13, 2013 Windham - Robert Farr, ""Bob"", passed away on December 13, 2013 following a brief illness. Bob was born on June 13, 1934 to Arthur and Julia Farr. He was retired from the Portland Press Herald. He traveled widely while in the military and shared memories of his time in Germany and Iceland. Bob was an easy going, happy and social person with a warm smile, kind word and a handshake or hug for everyone he encountered. Bob enjoyed cribbage tournaments, harness racing and sports, most especially, baseball. Bob had a lovely voice and enjoyed signing at family gatherings and church. Surviving is his loving wife Mary, four brothers; Ronald, Timmy, Billy and Jackie Farr as well as a sister, Anita Poland and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Elaine Simoneau, Alice Romasco and Shirley Haney, as well as a brother, Dennis Haney. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
