Richard "Ricky" O'Donnell, 33, died February 12 after a hard fought battle with melanoma. He was a resident of Belmont, ME. He was born April 27, 1991 in Norwood, MA, the son of Richard A. and Donna M. (Heirty) O'Donnell. Ricky graduated from Erskine Academy, class of 2009. After graduation he attended Universal Technical Institute where he studied auto mechanics. He had a special girlfriend, Sam Stanley and was a boat builder at Back Cove Yachts in Rockland, ME. He enjoyed raising chickens, legos, drones and camping at Kokadjo, ME. He is survived by his parents, Dick and Donna O'Donnell of Acton, ME. His girlfriend, Sam Stanley of Union, ME. His grandmother, Elizabeth Ben-Evi and husband Matzi of Old Orchard Beach, ME. Two brothers, Thomas O'Donnell and wife Tatyana of Saco, ME and Jeffrey Gosselin of Saco, ME. Two nephews, Grayson and Lincoln and one niece, Penelope. Three special friends, Donald and Kristi Knowlton of Belmont, ME and Edward Hustus of Lincolnville, ME. Ricky was taken from us far too soon and will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be held from 11-12 followed by a service at 12 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland, ME.
