Richard E. Cobb August 3, 1933 December 28, 2015 Scarborough Richard E. Cobb, 82, of Scarborough, passed away on December 28, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife, Virginia, of 59 years and family. He was born on August 3, 1933 in Portland the son of the late of Pearle and Erlon Cobb of Portland. He worked at Theodore's Lobster House and Sportsmans Grill for many years. He later worked for the Portland School Department, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed special times at Sonja and Reggie's camp and the family Christmas gatherings. He cherished his experiences traveling to places like Germany, Lake George and his most recent trip to New York and New Jersey. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister Sally (Cobb) Frost of New Jersey, brother Donald Cobb of Portland and a grandson Steven Delano of Scarborough. He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia (Noel) Cobb of Scarborough, a loving daughter Cindy and husband Mark Delano of Scarborough, a son Richard Jr and wife Shelby of Saco, daughters Sonja and husband Reggie Ford of Durham, Peggy and husband Leo Barabe of Phoenix, Arizona, Judy Gauvin of Old Orchard Beach, and Beverly and husband Jimmy Brown of Scarborough. Ten grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. Also a sister Barbara Sosebee of South Portland, a sister in law Penny Cobb of Portland, and a brother in law Robert Frost of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Raymond on January 6, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
